Dear DD-raiders,

We’re moving into Icecrown and the interest for our 25-man raids will be even higher than it was for ToC. We can only bring 2 tanks, 6 healers and 17 DPS which means not everyone who signs up will be able to come. Some of you will be disappointed and we can assure you we don’t like to dissapoint our members. Unfortunately we have to though.

This is what we look for when we pick players for the 25-man raids:

• Overall performance
• Does he/she know his class?
• Is he/she reliable? (i.e. following our raiding rules)
• Does he/she follow the raidleader’s instructions well? (target switching etc.)
• How does the he/she perform relative to his/her gear?
• What buff(s) is he/she bringing to the raid group?
• Is his/her gear up to par with the content we’re doing?
• Is he/she contributing to the guild in other ways than just attending to the latest content 25-man raids? (being helpful to other guildies in general, willingness to wipe and learn in our 10-man teams, joining lower tier raids when asked to and so on).
• Is he/she on a reliable internet connection?
• Is he/she after easy loot?
• How will the raid setup look as a whole? (How many ranged and melee DPS? How many different kinds of healers? How many important raid buffs covered?)

We hope this gives you a better understanding of how we think when we pick the 25-man raid teams.

Our first 10-man progression team setup has been almost the same since the start of WotLK and we intend to keep it that way. We see this team as Dirty Deeds kamikaze soldiers who are fast into new content, wiping and learning a lot to be able to share their experiences with the rest of the guild. This has proven to work well, especially knowing the tactics well when we move into 25-man runs is very useful. As you know we would love to get another progression team up and going, so if you have what it takes -make sure you join it!
